For mounting and dismounting torsionally rigid, flexible couplings between two shaft flanges of a shaft train (30, 31), a U-shaped device (10) is provided. Eccentric clamping levers (21, 22), on which lugs (36) and clamping faces (35) are formed, are situated at the ends of the legs (12, 13). The lugs (36) engage in chamfered grooves between the shafts or coupling flanges, so that on pivoting the eccentric levers the coupling flanges (33, 34) are pressed together. During this process, the cam face of each eccentric lever (21, 22) is jammed against the corresponding clamping face (19, 20), with the result that the eccentric levers are fixed in their positions.
