Lance and line guiding arrangement for media-supplying lances and measuring and sampling lances on metallurgical vessels

Lances are fixed frontally on lance carriages travelling on rails and are unguided over their length, so that they exhibit pendulum movements which may give rise to operating trouble. The lines to the lances may collide within the lance housing. In the novel lance and line guiding arrangement, apart from the lance carriage (3) provision is made for a guiding carriage (4) which is positioned between lance carriage (3) and the bottom end of the lance housing (2), and is carried along by the lance (1) via a carrier (8) ... which serves to guide the lance (1). The lines (11), which are attached on the one hand to the lance carriage (3) and on the other hand to the lance housing (2), are held taut via deflection rollers (10) on the guiding carriage (4).
