Heretofore, pinhole diaphragms were used only in conjunction with an expensive, additional third-party lens focusing system ("adjusting worm") which does not belong to or fit the camera equipment, as well as adapters for extending the depth of field. These third-party adapter elements could not use the automatic exposure control of reflex cameras. The novel, cost-advantageous, pluggable pinhole diaphragm makes it possible to extend the depth of field of the macrolens(es) forming part of the camera in conjunction with unlimited use of the automatic exposure control of the camera, without adapter elements and adapters. As a result of the pluggable embodiment of the pinhole diaphragm (quick-change system), the full image brightness of the finder eyepiece of the camera is available for adjusting the sharpness of the foreground and for determining the image section with the pinhole diaphragm removed. The pinhole diaphragm (1; Fig. 1) has a self-clamping holding (2; Fig. 1) which is plugged onto the outer diameter of the thread mount of the lens. The outside of the pinhole diaphragm (3; Fig. 1) is seated directly on the surface of the front lens (6; Fig. 2) of the macrolens (5; Fig. 2-simplified illustration).
