Simultaneous depletion of heavy metals and oxidizable pollutants from wastewater

Method for the removal of heavy metals and oxidisable noxious compounds from waste water, in which the heavy metals are first cathodically deposited in metallic form in an electrolysis module and other noxious compounds are simultaneously anodically oxidised, and in which the electrolyte removed is then disposed of by adsorption of residual noxious compounds.
