The invention relates to a method and a device for measuring the heat flow density or the temperature gradient, which render it possible to make precise measurements which can be analysed from many aspects. The essence of the invention consists in that, for the purpose of simultaneous measurement of the temperature difference, measuring units which are known per se and suitable for measuring the temperature difference are arranged in a plane and along a straight line deviating from the plane.
