摘要
PURPOSE:To develop a ferrous sintered alloy member excellent in wear resistance, by mixing a graphite powder and an Fe-Cr alloy powder with the powder of an Fe-P-C eutectic alloy having a specific composition in a specific ratio, by compacting the resulting powder mixture, and then by sintering the above green compact. CONSTITUTION:The Fe-Cr alloy powder containing, by weight, 11-14% Cr is mixed with the powder of Fe-P-C eutectic alloy containing 2.0-3.0% P, 4.0% C, and 8.0-11.0% Mo and/or 0.5-3.0% B so that it comprises 30-70%. Then, the pulverized powder of graphite is added and mixed into the above so that combined total with C in the above Fe-P-C eutectic alloy comprises 5-8% of the powder mixture. Subsequently, paraffin or zinc stearate is mixed as a binder with the mixture of these three kinds of powders by 1.5-2.0%, which is compacted into a green compact. The green compact is presintered in an H2 gas of 600 deg.C, sintered in vacuum at 1,060-1,100 deg.C, and further subjected to hardening treatment by the use of an N2 gas and then to tempering, so that ferrous sintered alloy member excellent in wear resistance can be manufactured.
