In a hinge for connecting a temple to a hinge piece of spectacles, at least one hinge eye is located on only one of these elements (hinge piece or temple). In this case, the procedure is preferably such that one of the two elements is firstly produced with the associated hinge eye or hinge pin, and this firstly produced element forms a part of the surface of the cavity of the injection-moulding tool for the other element, so that the other element is cast directly onto the firstly produced element.
