In a device for filling spacer frames for double glazing with hygroscopic material, there is provided a lateral support (11) for the spacer frames, a device (1) for pivoting the spacer frames about 90 DEG , and two filling stations (2, 3) for filling the spacer frames with hygroscopic material, in which the filling heads (13, 14) are arranged at the upper edge of the lateral support (11). Furthermore, a linear conveyor (17) for the spacer frames is provided which extends through the device along the bottom edge of the lateral support (11). In order to lift the spacer frames into the region of the filling heads (13, 14), the sections (18) of the linear conveyor (17) along the lateral support (11) which are provided in the region of the filling stations (2, 3) can be raised.
