The present invention relates to a device which allows a person with an illness or an accident victim having problems of staying in the walking position, to a person with a motor handicap, or to a person with an amputation to leave their bed, to go to the wheelchair in order to move and sit back down. This freedom of action, occurring with the arms and hands free, allows self-reeducation in walking whilst meeting the person's own needs. This apparatus comprises a frame 1 which is rigid and mounted on rolling elements 2. The said frame 1 is surmounted by a double compensator 3 extended by two articulated arms 4 raising two padded anatomical crutches 5 and 5'' which take the shape of the armpits. The device which is the subject of the invention can be used in private, in homes, in a reeducation centre, in surgery, in hospitals, on public roads accessible to wheelchairs as well as at work. The end goal for certain patients using this apparatus is a functional and progressive reeducation of the musculature so that there will be no further purpose for the apparatus. IMAGE
