The invention relates to a device which can be fitted to any fertilizer barrel simultaneously making it possible to connect or disconnect to or from the latter the suction pipe, to open or close the valve and to switch the compressor into suction or delivery; all this without the operator having to get down from the tractor. This device comprises a jack 6 actuating a ring 7 fitted with two connecting rods 9 articulated to two hooks 10 each provided with at least one runner 13 which, during connection, move two lateral guides 14 apart until they are parallel, after which the tips of the hooks 10 leave through the lateral guides 14 in order to snatch up a frame 24 articulated to the suction pipe which is immersed in the trench to be fertilized. The ring 7 also actuates a set of connecting rods 17, 19 and 20 which open the valve 1. The invention may be used for pumping fertilizer without having to get down from the tractor to connect the suction pipe. IMAGE
