The invention relates to a slide-projection device controlled by a microprocessor equipped with a conversational instruction programme and with an operator including a rotary magazine 6 for storing the slides, a device 8 for extracting the selected slide from the magazine in order to install it in an optical projection device 3, 4, 5 between an illuminating lamp 4 and a screen 5 and to put it back into the magazine, a device 7 for driving the rotation of the magazine 6 in order to rotate it and to stop it at any position in which each of the compartments of the magazine is placed in line with the extraction device.
