A high voltage puffer circuit breaker and closing resistors is equipped with an auxiliary contact inserted in the electrical control circuit of the circuit breaker tripping. The auxiliary contact is actuated by the control rod of the circuit breaker, so as to prevent any false manîoeuvre engagement.
