This urban street furniture consists of the assembly of three parts: the pedestal 2, the body 3, supporting four panels for advertising posters 11, 0.40 m x 0.60 m in size, the upper part of which is made up of two parallel, set-in jardinieres 5 and of two parallel openings 6 permitting the disposal of waste collected in a trough 7 placed flush with the body, in the hollow interior of the enclosure and accessible through a door 8 locked with a key. This body 3 is surmounted by an upper part 4 made up of the vertical and parallel assembly of two stationary supports 9 and 10, of panels 4 for advertising posters joined together and thus forming a supplementary basket 12 intended to receive only waste newspapers. Above this basket 12, supported by the two support faces 9 and 10 a protective plate 13 is installed, which slopes gently on either side of the openings of this basket, over which it projects in order to protect its contents from the rain. This urban street furniture intended for the commercial exploitation of its supports as an advertising display 11, would be employed in any public or private thoroughfare with a high density of pedestrian traffic.
