Process of production of sulphur elementary on the basis of an ore of iron sulfide, which comprises the acid lixiviation, oxidizing of the ore pulverise, in view of the extraction of the sulphur, the pulp obtained at the end of the leaching being subjected to the separation of its solid 13 of the solution 14 that it contains, before this separation, the sulphur elementary, by leaching, is melted and placed in the form of agglomerates that separate of the pulp, and then the agglomerates being dissolved in an organic solvent of the sulphur, that - latter being then recovered by crystallization by cooling, 8, whereas the solution 10 is treated in view of the extraction of non-ferrous metals.
