Method of production of the enzyme ligninolytic by culture of the mushroom, phanerochaete chrysosporium

The invention relates to the production of a lignin-hydrolysing enzyme by culturing Phanerochaete chrysosporium. This method consists in cultivating the said fungus on a basic culture medium containing a source of nitrogen, carbon and assimilable inorganic salts, the said culture medium being supplemented with a stimulating agent chosen from unsaturated fatty acids and natural amino acids, and in isolating the enzyme contained in the culture supernatant.
