摘要
The fuel burns on the grille whose orifices (C-F) admit combustion air from the air inlet below. The fuel is retained by a plate (H). In front of the plate there is an additional orifice (A) in the grille. The orifice (A) has an area equal to the sum of the areas of the other grille orifices. Air passing through the inlet (B) and the orifice (A) bypasses the fuel but does not affect the combustion. ADVANTAGE - Excess air is bypassed preventing over-drawing of the fire.
