The invention relates to an instrumentation for performing, under laparoscopy, the collection of young embryos from small ruminants, such as goats and sheep, using light surgery limited to perforations of the skin of the peritoneum and uterine horns. BR/ The instrument is characterized in that it comprises means of "in situ" lighting of the operating field, gripping and "control" organs of the uterine horn, a collection probe, consisting of a flexible sheath 10 whose operational end is provided with a tubular warhead 11 for penetration of the uterine horn, preceding an inflatable balloon 13 supplied by a line of air 101 extruded into the wall of the sheath 10 the lumen 102 of said sheath being traversed by a removable rigid mandrel 12 then by a flexible movable catheter 15 whose anterior end, which crosses the tubular warhead 11, comprises a series of collection orifices 19 this catheter defining with the lumen of the sheath a channel annular 16 for the admission of a physiological liquid for suspending the embryos.
