The invention relates to a device mounted on a fishing rod fitted with a reel, allowing audible and visual signalling of a bite. It consists of a fishing rod 1, a reel 2, a feeler fitted with a guide for the thread of the line 3, a light 4, a vibrator (audible signal) 5 and a battery of four round 1.5 volt cells 6, these elements being largely grouped inside the rod. The device according to the invention allows the operations of casting and drawing in the line to be performed without any hinderance, and with very great ease.
