Pneumatic spreader for normal and late spraying

The pneumatic spreader for dry agrochemicals has a supply hopper from which the fertiliser is supplied to curved outlet pipes (10) which point back and across the travel direction and have reversible or interchangeable baffle plates (12,13). The curved pipes (10) and/or the baffle plates are mounted in their late fertiliser position so that during late spreading, when the crops are high, the spread area (23) produced by the baffle plates (12,13) is directed up at least horizontal or parallel to the surface level (24) of the crop or just above. For normal spreading when the plants have not grown up the baffle plates ensure the spread area passes down in the direction of the ground.
