At the moment of accidental impact, this appliance automatically switches on a radio emitter which broadcasts a bib-bib-bib signal which may be heard on a car radio in common use. It also signals to the drivers behind that there is a car in front of them which has been involved in an accident. The footing 1 acts as a mounting base and is mounted on the dashboard 2 of the vehicle. At the moment of the accidental impact, the flyweight 3 moves on the cylinder 4 and closes the electrical contacts 5 and 6 switching on the emitter and cutting off the circuit of the battery. The indicating light signals that the emitter is switched on. The control button 8 serves to return the flyweight 3 to its neutral position.
