Central box structure for assembling elements of the structure forming the base of a funeral monument of the conventional type with a prie-dieu, flower-box/mould, solid front, solid flower-box front, characterised in that it consists of a strong rectangular monolithic frame 1, with a triangular reinforcing half-column at the four internal corners 3, which is grooved on the upper edge at its middle 2 and comprising eight holes 4 having a diameter of approximately five centimetres pierced right through and located halfway up on either side of each corner, into which holes orientable straight fixing cups 5 are inserted. Its design allows the assembly to be performed beforehand in the workshop, since it is integrated into the assembled structure by reinforcing it, thus allowing less use of raw materials. Likewise, its design enhances the effectiveness of the upper joint which is usually made and confers on the assembled structure an original appearance without additional work on the assembled parts.
