Use of a compound of formula IMAGE (I) wherein A is an aromatic-heterocyclic ring which contains an oxygen or nitrogen atom, and n is 1 or 2, for controlling insects and plant-destructive nematodes and to a composition containing such a compound. The compounds of this invention are particularly suitable for controlling sucking insects.
