MULTI-TASK JOB TEST SYSTEM USING KNOWLEDGE BASE

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a test, to facilitate the maintanance of a test environment, and to obtain an effective use of a machine time by using a knowledge base which is describable with a spreadsheet program and is the one reflecting its inherent functions classified by dummy tasks. CONSTITUTION:When 'A' is inputted from a console CS to a dummy task DT1, a message B is informed to a task TT1 to be tested, and a message C is informed after 1 second, a test is executed which decides whether the task TT1 to be tested returns a normal response (semaphore information) to the dummy task DT1 or not, and the tested result can be decided by seeing the contents outputted to a printer PR. In the case of correcting the inherent function of the dummy task DT1, it is enough to correct a knowledge base DB1 which is describable with the spreadsheet program, and a load module does not have to be reprepared.
