PURPOSE: To provide the subject method comprising such a practice that, when broken warp(s) is to be withdrawn from a warp sheet composed of many warps, an adhesive material is pressed against the warp sheet and then withdrawn to easily withdraw the broken warp(s) from the warp sheet. CONSTITUTION: This method for separating broken warp(s) comprises such a practice that, when broken warp(s) is to be withdrawn from a warp sheet 4 with many warps arranged sheet-fashion such as a warp sheet 4 withdrawn off a warp beam 5, an adhesive material 16 is pressed against the warp sheet and then withdrawn, thus the broken warp(s) can be separated from the warp sheet 4 in such a state as to pick up the broken warp(s) by the adhesive material.
