JOINT CONSTRUCTION BETWEEN LEFT AND RIGHT BROADSIDES OF CATAMARAN

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the strength of the joint part of a catamaran by integrally forming various room walls on an upper deck with the construction of the body below the upper deck. CONSTITUTION:A lateral bulkhead 11 is mounted between both an upper deck 1 stretch between left and right bulks and a bridge deck 12 straight above the web of the lower part joint construction of the upper deck 1. A vertically through bulkhead 10 constructionary joined with a tunnel side external board 5 is mounted straight thereabove. The vertical shearing force applied to each broadside bulks is transmitted to the lateral bulkhead 11 to cope with a bending moment. The vertically through bulkhead 10 is contributed to the improvement of the rigidity of the bridge deck 12.
