CIRCLE/CIRCULAR ARC PLOTTING AND PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To attain a high speed processing by newly disposing an auxiliary computing element for previously operating the renewal of an incremental value in the pre-step of a main computing element for obtaining the discriminating expression from a preceding discriminating result and the incremental values of x and y directions in a circle/circular arc plotting and processor using the discriminating expression. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary computing element 205 is disposed in the preceding step of the main computing element 206. To this auxiliary computing element 205, the preceding x or y incremental values are selectively supplied as an input. This selection is decided according to the type of the receding discriminating result or an instruction. Then, the preceding inputted x or y incremental value and a constant are added to update said incremental value. This updated value is supplied to the main computing element 206 as the new incremental value and fed back to a resource such as a general purpose register 22. Thereby, the incremental value is applied from the auxiliary computing element 205 and the operation of the discriminating expression can be immediately executed.
