PURPOSE:To reduce the labor of an operator, and to simplify a program of a high rank apparatus executing a count-up prodessing, by storing only a receipt number which requires a registering cancellation, and inputting only the receipt number after one day's regular registering has ended. CONSTITUTION:A read-out exclusive ROM storing a program, an internal RAM for storing the total sales quantity of each commodity and the sales amount, a keyboard, an external memory CMT for writing a registering data, etc. are connected toa microprocessor CPU of an ECR. On this keyboard, a key socket for switching an operation mode, a ten key 2, a key group for inputting a commodity code, and a function key group 4 having a function key VOID for registering cancellation, etc. are provided. In this way, when executing the registerint cancellation by operating the key VOID, only a receipt number is stored in the RAM, only the receipt number is inputted to CMT after one day's regular registering has ended, and a program in case of executing the count-up processing is simplified.
