PURPOSE: To facilitate a practice in hearing by making a user to hear pronunciation by calling a specific line on a switching network side from a terminal. CONSTITUTION: An open communication line such a public telephone line is used to make a practice in hearing not by a conversation between terminal telephone sets like a general line, but sending pronunciation of English in an English conversation, etc., from the switching network side (e.g. telephone office) to a terminal telephone set and hearing the English conversation through the telephone set. Further, the switching network side is only called from the terminal telephone at desired time for a desired time like ordinary telephone. The switching network side selects a specific dial number for the purpose. Consequently, many people can make practices in hearing easily at low cost by using telephone and even a person who can not read English can enjoy an English conversation.
