INNER PARTIAL DISCHARGE DETECTION DEVICE FOR GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

PURPOSE:To perform the monitoring of partial discharge effectively, by dividing a device into multiple domains with switching equipment on its basis, and by providing partial discharge detectors to each domain. CONSTITUTION:Let the divided side of a partial discharge measurement region be domains A, B, C and D. In a circuit I when a disconnector on the line side 5 and a bus bar disconnector 2A are open, a normal line and a main bus bar 1A remain stopped and the domains B and D are charged through a main bus bar 2. Consequently, partial discharge measurement is necessary in domains B and D, in which partial discharge is detected by partial discharge detectors 13B and 13D. When a breaker 33 is inspected in the state where the circuit I line and main bus bars 1A and 1B are charged, the partial discharge is detected by partial discharge detectors 13A, 13C and 13D in domains A, C and D as a breaker 3 is opened and only the domain B stops. Thus, it call be checked likewise in the other circuits. Partial discharge monitoring can effectively be performed by dividing circuits I, II and III into the domains A, B, C and D with switching equipment such as disconnectors, breakers, etc., on its basis.
