METHOD OF FORMING MOIRE STRIPED PATTERN GEOMETRIC PATTERN

PURPOSE: To form a regular geometrical pattern like moire fringes of utility by using two sheets of the same dot pattern with dots in lattice at regular intervals, completely over-lapping the both dot patterns, and rotating one set of dot pattern around a dot thereon as an origin. CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of dot patterns with dots disposed at regular intervals are prepared, the both are overlapped so that the both patterns are completely matched, its single dot is designated as the origin, and one dot pattern is rotated with respect to the other to overlap by angle θ in accordance with cot (θ/2)=n/m, where n and m are integers appropriately chosen in dependence on necessity like the size of the pattern. With this, regular geometrical pattern of moire fringes can be obtained. Accordingly, it is possible to be effectively utilized for the formation of printing pattern by computer.
