INFORMATION SUCCEEDING SYSTEM BETWEEN JOB STEPS IN VIRTUAL MEMORY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize resources by using a virtual storage where an access can be directly made, and utilizing a storing area to be peculiar for a program. CONSTITUTION:An information succeeding control mechanism 100 controls the succeeding of information based on defined information and a cutting means 102 cuts the storing area, in which the succeeding information are stored, from an address space. A recording means 103 records switch control information concerning a cut switch block concerning to a recording book. A connecting means 104 connects the cut switch block to the address space of the program, which corresponds to job steps Ja-Jn of an information succeeding destination, according to switch control information to be recorded to the recording book 101. By this connection, the program corresponding to the job step of the information succeeding destination can be obtained only by making access to the address space which is peculiar for the its own program. A deleting means 105 deletes the switch control information to correspond to the switch block where the connection processing by the means 104 is finished from the recording book.
