PURPOSE: To use developer material all over the effective service life of a machine by fixing a waste sink to the developer assembly possible to be released, so as to make a opening of the sink is engaged in a state of receiving the developer corresponding to the developer outlet port of the developer composition body. CONSTITUTION: On a rear part of the developer housing 45, the developer waste sink 52 is provided so that it is positioned detachably and fixed in a releasable state. The waste sink 52 is provided with the opening 51 being communicated with the developer outlet port 49, for receiving the waste developer used in the developer storage chamber 54. The developer waste sink 52 contains at least, one piece of a settling cylinder 55 for catching scattering toner from the air before evacuation, and that is actuated together with an appropriate filter 57 such as a polyurethane foam before evacuating air through an exhaust port 56. In this way, recovery of the developing material removed from the developer sink and minimizing of the soil in the exhaust air is effectively performed, therefor the developer can be used all over the effective service life of the machine.
