SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY SETTING LINE PARAMETER

PURPOSE:To eliminate the manual set of the respective types of parameters before supervision by sending sample data, automatically deciding the respective types of the parameters and setting the parameter. CONSTITUTION:A signal transmitted in a communicating line 1 is sampled by a sampling means 100 and the sample data, which are determined in advance, are extracted by a sample data extracting means 200. The sample data are analyzed by a data length deciding means 300 and a data length is decided. A bow rate is decided from this data length and the frequency of a clock signal by a bow rate deciding means 400. Further, signals including the two types of the sample data are compared by a parity form deciding means 500 and the presence and absence of a parity bit and a parity checking form are decided. In a stop bit length counting means 600, a stop bit length is counted by the sample data from the sample data extracting means 200 and the output of the parity form deciding means 500.
