METHOD FOR COMPOSITION CONTAINING CARPRONIUM CHLORIDE BLENDED THEREIN IN HIGH CONCENTRATION

PURPOSE:To stabilize carpronium chloride useful as a remedy for skin roughening, fine wrinkles, alopecia, etc., in a composition containing carpronium chloride blended therein in a high concentration, by adding a polyhydric alcohol and vegetable oil, etc., as a stabilizer to the above-mentioned composition. CONSTITUTION:Carpronium chloride in an amount of 0.1-10.0wt.% in a blended composition is stabilized. In the process, a polyhydric alcohol, such as glycerol, propylene glycol, butyl glycol, diethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol, and a vegetable oil, such as olive oil or avocado oil, animal oil, such as squalane or mink oil, or a mixture thereof and an inert high polymer, such as hydrocarbon gel, white wax, liquid paraffin or solid paraffin, as a stabilizer are added to a blended composition prepared by adjusting hardness or consistency of an ointment, cream, etc., containing the carpronium chloride without containing ethanol with silica aluminum powder, etc.
