PURPOSE:To produce a liquor tank not causing the degeneration of liquors due to the leaching of Fe ions by using a stainless steel having a specified compsn. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel having a compsn. consisting of, by weight, 0.03% C, 0.2-1.5% Si, 0.3-1.5% Mn, 11-22% Cr, 12% Ni, 0.2-1.5% Mo, 0.2-2.5% Cu, 0.015% N, =1%, in total, of Ti and Nb and the balance Fe or further contg. 0.2-1.6% Co and 0.05-0.3% W is used as stock to produce a liquor storage tank. This tank does not cause the discoloration and degeneration of liquors due to the leaching of Fe ions from the stainless steel and has superior weather resistance.
