PURPOSE:To express the characteristic phenomena of a plate tectonics theory three-dimensionally and time-transitionally by smoothly extending and withdrawing South and North America continent belts from the into a terrestrial globe by the air pressure of a pneumatic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A guide 108 which encloses a notch 46c of a movable base layer 46b at the central ridge (Atlantic central part) is provided to the rear face of the movable base layer 46b. The South and North America continent belts 44b1, 44b2 intruding into the globe from the notch 46c are bundle by a fitting 110c and the front end part thereof is connected by a fitting 110b to a wire 110. The belts 44b1, 44b2 are smoothly extended from the terrestrial globe by the pressure of the pneumatic cylinder via the wire 110c when the pneumatic cylinder operates according to a control signal. The belts 44b1, 44b2 are smoothly withdrawn into the terrestrial globe by the shrinkage force of the cylinder when the cylinder operates reverse. Further, the characteristic phenomena by the plate tectonics theory are expressed by using illumination devices and the sound signal of the tape of a tape deck.
