HEAT-ACTIVATED DELAYED TYPE TACKY AGENT COMPOSITION AND HEAT-ACTIVATED DELAYED TYPE TACKY SHEET

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of providing a tacky sheet without anxiety of blocking even by directly winding the sheet just after coating, by using a polymer material containing a polyurethane resin having a straight- chainlike tetramethylene structure in the molecule as an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition, obtained by preparing (A) 100 pts.wt. polymer material containing a polyurethane resin (e.g., consisting of polytetramethylene glycol) having a straight-chainlike structure in the molecule, (B) 10-20 pts.wt. tackifier and (C) 50-400 pts.wt. solid plasticizer into the form of an aqueous dispersion and capable of exhibiting excellent tacky and bonding performance even for plastic materials having low polarity. The resultant composition is then applied onto a substrate sheet to afford a thermally active delayed type tacky sheet.
