PURPOSE:To facilitate the change of a transport angle at a slat conveyer for a packed matter of city refuse or the like, by connecting the loading portion side of the conveyer with the unloading portion side in such a way as to be flexible, and also, providing the ascending/descending means of the unloading portion side and a chain tensile strength regulating means. CONSTITUTION:A slat conveyer 1 has its loading portion 1a and its unloading portion 1b connected flexibly by means of a hinge 7, and at the same time, has the unloading portion 1b side supported ascendably/descendably by means of an ascending/descending means 8. And, this slat conveyer 1 is constituted by fitting a slat link plate to two endless conveyer chains 4, 4, and a tensile strength regulating means 10 for these conveyer chains 4,4 is arranged in the vicinity of the rear end portion of the loading portion 1a. And the tensile strength of chains 4 is regulated by operating a tensile strength regulating air cylinder 14 as well as the ascending/descending action of the unloading portion 1b by means of the ascending/descending means 8. As a result, a rising angle is appropriately selected, and unpacking is done by adding a falling impact, and a transport can be done.
