FLUE GAS DESULFURIZER BY DRY PROCESS USING FLY ASH CONTAINING LIME AT HIGH CONCENTRATION

PURPOSE:To carry out efficient desulfurization by providing a combustion apparatus to desulfurize in a furnace, a dust collector to collect fly ash contg. lime at high concn., an apparatus to produce a desulfurizing agent from the fly ash, and a desulfurizer by dry process using the desulfulizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A lime stone 9 is blown to a burning furnace of a boiler 1 to carry out desulfurization in the furnace, the resulting flue gas 10 is cooled by an air preheating apparatus 2, and a fly ash contg. lime at high concn. is captured by a dust collector 3. The captured fly ash is thrown to a desulfurizing agent producing apparatus 7 through a silo 6, and after water addition to the fly ash, the fly ash is mixed and kneaded with water, cured by heating hydration with saturated steam, granulated, and stored in a silo 8. The obtained desulfurizing agent is supplied to a dry-type desulfurizing tower 4 and utilized for removal of SO2 in a flue gas after removal of dust.
