PURPOSE:To easily exchange a detecting element, by circulating gas including SF6 gas in an electric apparatus, in a vessel containing the detecting element, and by providing the gas circulating means with valve means for interrupting or re-starting the gas circulation. CONSTITUTION:Outside an electric apparatus main-unit 11 in which SF6 gas is sealed, an internal abnormal state diagnostic-device 1 is set and is provided with a detecting element containing vessel 102, circulating means (for example, gas circulating pipes) 21, 22 for introducing or circulating gas in the vessel 102, and valves 31, 32 for interrupting or re-starting the gas circulation. Besides, on the rear of an SF6 cracked-gas detecting element 101, a heater 106 for heating the element 101 is set, and on the upper section, a partition plate 107 is set. As a result, by the valves 31, 32, the internal section of the abnormal state diagnostic-device 1 can be separated from the gas space of the electric apparatus, and so without stopping operation, the SF6 gas detecting element 101 can be exchanged.
