PURPOSE:To make it possible to form fillets to the lugs of the plate group and to exhaust bubbles near the lugs in a molten metal by making the heat capacity larger in the lowest mold layer than in the upper side mold layers, in a multilayer structure of plural mold layers. CONSTITUTION:A mold 1 has recesses 6A to 8A of the form to pile on up and down closely respectively, and consists of three-layer structure of mold layers 6 to 8 piled up separatable up and down. And the heat capacity of the lowest mold layer 8 is made larger than that of the upper side mold layers 6 and 7. By forming the multilayer structure in such a way, the temperature control of the molten metal 2A can be carried out easily by piling up the layers to increase the heat capacity, or by separating them each other to reduce the heat capacity. In such a way, a strap and the lugs 3 of the plate group can be deposited in a good condition without leaving bubbles near the lugs 3 inside the strap, and the fillets can be also formed in a good condition.
