SHORT WAVE BROADCAST TRANSMISSION METHOD IN CATV TRANSMISSION METHOD

PURPOSE:To receive a short wave broadcast signal in a stable reception state at a terminal subscriber by receiving a short wave broadcast radio wave by plural receivers simultaneously, selecting the best one wave at an automatic changeover device, and sending a converted conversion output to a CATV transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Each of broadcast radio waves f1, f2, f3 being transmitted in the same program but different in carrier frequency is received respectively by plural receivers and a common antenna 1, simultaneously, the received output is branched by a distributer 2, fed to automatic changeover devices 3, 3', detected and fed to a comparator 3d. Then, the comparator 3d selects one wave received in the best condition, and the signal subject to FM modulation is superimposed with other retransmission signal to the CATV transmission line by a superimposing circuit, and the result is sent to each terminal subscriber. Thus, the best one is selected corresponding to the short wave broadcast reception state varying with time and a stable reception output is obtained.
