PRODUCTION OF CASTING CRAFTWORK OBJECT, SUCH AS BUDDHIST ALTAR FITTINGS

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a suitable product having light wt. and sufficient strength at low cost by integratedly forming casting layer on outer surface of an interpolating cylindrical body utilizing pressed sheets as stock. CONSTITUTION:A flat cylindrical member is inserted in an outer mold and by acting hydraulic pressure or gas pressure, a hollow part is sufficiently expanded at larger than a hole part 5 to make the one having curving part 1d projecting the opening end part to outside, and the curving part 1d is fitted under engaging condition with engaging step 8a formed at intermediate of the core mold. Under the condition of charging and setting the core mold fitting the interpolating body 1 in the outer mold 9, molten metal is cast into the casting gap formed between the cavity and the interpolating cylindrical body 1 to integratedly cast into a product. Auxiliary packing material 16 is charged to between the core mold and the expanding part of the interpolating cylindrical body 1, to prevent deformation of the interpolating cylindrical body 1. The interpolating cylindrical body 1 and the outer mold 9 are assembled, and after casting, the aimed casting craftwork object can be simply obtd. by pulling out the core mold.
