CONTINUOUS BODY SUPPORT BODY FOR GUIDING CONTINUOUS BODY IN TOBACCO PROCESSING INDUSTRY

PURPOSE: To guide a continuous body to a cutting area without disturbing the operation of a cutting device and its driving means by providing a continuous body supporting mechanism, with which a continuous cigarette body is grasped, at the free end of a specified link carrier protruded outside from the driving means. CONSTITUTION: The cutting device is constituted by installing a knife 1 around it and fitting a drum cutter 3 so as to be rotated with an axial line 2 as a center. On the other hand, a continuous body supporting mechanism 5 forming a slit, with which a continuous cigarette body 4 is grasped in the form of fork during a cutting process, is provided at a free end 6 of a carrier 7 for continuation pivotally attached to two journals 8 and 9 of rotational parallel guide parts composed of two grasped driving parts 10 and 11 while letting the mechanism belong to this cutting device. Next, a belt pulley 15 and a grasped driving part 10 are rotated by a driving shaft 14 to be rotated through driving bevel gears 12 and 13 of driving elements arranged outside the working area of the drum cutter 3, at the same time, they are driven and coupled with a belt pulley 17 of a parallel crunk driving mechanism 11 by a gear belt 16, and the continuous body 4 grasped by the continuous body supporting mechanism 5 provided at the free end 6 arranged while being protruded outside from the driving means is guided into the cutting area.
