CONSTRUCTION OF DEEP UNDERGROUND CONTINUOUS WALL

PURPOSE:To prevent an iron reinforced cage itself or receiving tommy bar from being deformed and destructed by the retraction load of the reinforced cage by interposing hydraulic jacks in the lower part of the receiving tommy bar which temporarily receives the iron reinforced cage and measuring and controlling the load applied onto each member. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic jacks 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d connected with a hydraulic pump 9 equipped with a gauge 9a are installed onto the undersurface of a receiving tommy bar 5, with the stroke in extended state. The receiving tommy bar 5 temporarily receives an iron reinforced cage 4 by a suspending tool 6. When the retraction load shown on the gauge 9a becomes equal to a previously set value, the hydraulic jacks 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d are contracted to a prevent an unreasonable load from acting onto the iron reinforced gauge 9a and the receiving tommy bar 5. The load is adjusted by interposing a plurality of plate liners 7 between the receiving tommy bar 5 and a temporary receiving board 3 and stepwise demounting the plate liners 7.
