POROUS REFRACTORY FOR MOLTEN METAL ANALYSIS PROBE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a porous refractory having excellent spalling resistance, erosion resistance and uniformly fine blow holes by forming the porous refractory using to a sampling probe for gas analysis in molten steel with refractory material containing spherical grain by the specific refractory. CONSTITUTION:In the probe 10 for the gas analysis in the molten steel composing of outer refractory 1 and inner refractory 2 and having a pipe for blowing Ar gas made of heat resistant tube 4 in the inner refractory 2, the porous refractory 3 for blowing the Ar gas is fitted to tip part of the inner refractory 2. This porous refractory 3 is made of the refractory of alumina quality, magnesia quality, spinel quality, zirconia quality, etc., containing 20-90wt.% of 0.1-0.5mm particle size of the spherical grain and having only a little penetration of the molten steel and excellent erosion resistance. The porous refractory 3 having excellent service life, which the Ar gas is uniformly blown into the molten steel from an introducing pipe 6, is obtd.
