In a process for the production of glass sheets, in particular windscreens, having high transmissivity and reflectivity, a first layer (1) of an oxide, a second layer (2) of a metal, a third layer (3) of silver or a silver alloy, a fourth layer (4) of a metal of the type forming the second layer and a final layer (6) of an oxide of the type forming the first group are applied to the mineral-glass sheet (S), an additional layer (5) of a transparent oxide, preferably of titanium oxide, inserted between the fourth and final layers (4 and 6) being provided. The mineral-glass sheet (S) coated in this way can be warmed to at least the softening point of the glass together with this stack of layers (1 to 6) formed from six layers, shaped in the desired manner in the warmed state and cooled in the shaped state.
