PURPOSE:To obtain ideal frequency characteristics of rubber vibration insulator with its phase characteristics for the range from a low frequency to a high frequency by constituting an acceleration sensor with a second piezo load cell which is of the same kind as a first piezo load cell and to which a dead mass is attached. CONSTITUTION:A first piezo load cell 1 is fixed on a base B, a rubber vibration insulator 5 on the first load cell 1 through a chuck 1a, and a mounting table 6 on the rubber vibration insulator 5 through a chuck 6a. One end of the moving section of a vibrator 2 is fixed on the table 6, and on the other end of the moving section 2a a second piezo load cell 3 which is of the same kind as the first piezo load cell 1 and a dead mass 4 are fastened. Repetitive dynamic loads are applied to the rubber vibration rubber insulator 5 with the vibrator 2. Dynamic load signals of the rubber vibration insulator 5 are obtained by the first load cell 1 and the second load cell 3 gives second load signals. From those load signals the acceleration and further deflection of the rubber vibration insulator 5 are sought. A large range of frequency characteristics are obtained by changing the weight of the dead mass 4, and also phasic relation of the acceleration signals and dynamic load signals is easily adjustable.
