CARRIER STOPPING DEVICE IN FLOOR TYPE DUAL TROLLEY CONVEYER

PURPOSE:To make it possible to stop a carrier with a simple arrangement by forming overhanging parts on both sides of the lower section of an engaging dog swingably disposed to a free trolley, and by holding the engaging dog in an upward raised condition with the use of stoppers which are retractable and extendable into and from both side sections of a conveying line. CONSTITUTION:A free trolley 4 in a floor type trolley conveyer is provided with an engaging dog having in, its forward end part, an engaging part 24 adapted to be engaged with a pusher dog 31 of a power trolley 28, swingably around a shaft 20. Overhanging parts 22, 23 are formed on both sides of the lower section of the engaging dog and adapted to be engaged with stoppers 55 which are extendable and retractable from and into both side sections of a conveying line so as to raise the engaging dog along their inclined guide surfaces 58a, resulting in that the engaging dog is held by the upper surface sections 56 of the overhanging parts while the engagement thereof with the pusher dog 31 is released to stop the free trolley 4 With this simple structure using the stoppers extendable and retractable to and from the side sections of the conveying line, it is possible to release the engagement with the power trolley and to stop the latter.
