ANTI-ACCELERATION SLIP METHOD

PURPOSE:To surely prevent acceleration slip, by reducing engine output with a predetermined rate when the drive wheel is increasing and exceeding a reference speed, then reducing the engine output with a second rate based on deceleration rate until slippage is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from respective drive wheel speed sensors 11, 12 are averaged to provide a wheel speed at drive wheel side, while outputs from respective driven wheel speed sensors 13, 14 are averaged to provide a body speed. Then operated data are fed to a traction control ECU17, and when the drive wheel speed is increasing and exceeding over a reference speed operated based on the body speed, engine output is reduced based on a first output reduction rate K0 until the drive wheel speed decreases to a level lower than a predetermined level. Upon finish of these steps, reduction of output is controlled based on a second output rate K1(K0) determined based on a deceleration rate until slippage is stopped.
